We hosted the annual Low Vision workshop with 60 attendees, which was a huge success.
The Taitamahine girls’ group and Taitamariki boys’ group had termly EOTC events, visiting the BLVNZ mobility centre, Newmarket mall, Weta workshop, Silo Park and rock climbing, focusing on DOM, social skills and sport.
The Braille club has increased in size and continues to gather fortnightly, focusing on developing Braille skills alongside building connections with other learners who are blind or have severe low vision.
Six of our ākonga have been involved in SOPA throughout the year.
