In 2025, BLENNZ Palmerston North Inquiry focus was to develop the skills of ākonga specifically in the areas of Everyday Living (EDL) and Life Beyond School (LBS).

Each RTV set goals based on the needs of the ākonga on their caseload. Skills were developed in a variety of areas, including cooking, shopping, understanding and using money, dressing, eating with utensils, opening snack containers, cleaning a house and personal care 

RTV skills developed alongside their ākonga. Knowledge was gained through research and discussion around Tikanga in relation to EDL.  

A wall display was created showing the Phases of learning from Phase 1, Kākano, through to Tupu, Kōhuri, Rākau and Phase 5, Tāpae
