Ākonga introduced themselves and their teddies. Using Unifix Cubes, they measured their teddies and created a graph to discover whose bear was the tallest.
Ākonga measured ingredients - mixing, stirring and whisking the batter to make and decorate cupcakes. Through tuakana teina, less confident ākonga were supported by those more confident. They played pass-the-parcel and used their motor skills to climb the monkey bars and to reach the top of the rocket ship. They said that they liked making new friends and learning to bake.
