Specialist providers from the Halberg Foundation, Blind Low Vision NZ, Disability Sport & Recreation Hawke's Bay, and the BLENNZ Sports Lead delivered expert instruction in four key areas:
Boccia: A precision-based Paralympic sport.
Court Sports: Football, badminton, and tennis using sound balls and high-visibility gear.
Wheels: Riding specialised trikes and tandem bikes.
Taonga Tākaro: Cultural play, including crafting and using poi.
Students had a blast, building physical skills and peer connections. They are already eager for the next adapted sports event in Term 3!
