The dedicated three-person team supports students, whānau, and kura across Tairāwhiti. GVRC has successfully taken over the Wairoa region, building strong new relationships, while continuing to strengthen networks on the East Cape through regular engagement and promotion of BLENNZ services.
Highlights this year include supporting our ORS students to complete the Weetbix Try-Athlon in Term 2.
Staff are developing professionally through training and upskilling, enhancing support for complex needs learners. Valuable Professional Development opportunities were provided to GVRC staff and whanau by DOM Jess Caine in Term 2, with a focus on guiding, cane skills and road safety.
