By combining online Moodle learning, a three-day in-person workshop, and small-group practicum sessions, the programme supports RTV to plan and conduct comprehensive Functional Sensory Assessments (FSA). Alongside this, we introduced new assessment booklets and are actively working on equipping each centre with dedicated assessment kits.
Responses from our first cohort were extremely positive. All participants shared that the PLD met or exceeded their expectations. Beyond core skills, this PLD offers RTV a meaningful opportunity to connect, share practice, and deepen their capability in supporting ākonga with complex needs and vision impairment. We can’t wait to welcome our 2027 cohort!
