We hosted two in-centre Professional huis to share more about BLENNZ (Strategic Goal 1).

The aim of this was to explain how BLENNZ is structured, services we offer, criteria for BLENNZ support and how to make referrals.

Professionals invited: SENCos, LSCs, RTLB from local schools in the Franklin area; Therapists from ACC-contract providers, Ministry of Education and advocacy organisations; Early Intervention Teachers, Visiting Neurodevelopmental Therapists and Paediatricians.

Not only did they have information shared with them and questions answered, but they also got to view and play around with resources that we use which led to rich discussions.

The spin-off was great networking and connections made over kai and being invited to more groups on recommendation from those who attended.
